On October 17, 2012 Fr. Milton Zonta was chosen the General Superior of the Society of the Divine Savior, at the XVIII General Chapter, that has been taking place in Kraków, Poland. Fr. Milton Zonta is 52 years old and was born in Brazil. In 1979 he joined the Society of the Divine Savior and from 2006 he is a member of the General Council in Rome.

On October 20th, the participants of the Chapter have chosen the new General Council:
- Fr. Raul Gomez from the USA Province – General Vicar Superior
- General Consultors: Fr. Krzysztof Kowalczyk of the Australian Region of the Polish Province, Fr. Stijn Van Baelen from the Belgian Province and Fr. Thomas Malal from Kongo.
